16nNiCrS4 is a high-strength low-alloy structural steel. Due to its proper hardenability, the microstructure is uniform sorbite, bainite or very fine pearlite after heat treatment. Therefore, it has higher tensile strength and yield strength ratio (generally around 0.85), higher toughness and fatigue strength, and lower toughness brittleness transition temperature.
